Ski resorts near Moscow
Almost all ski resorts located in the suburbs of Moscow and in the Moscow region are intended exclusively for beginners in alpine skiing.
Ski resorts in the Moscow region and Moscow region
The territory of the Moscow Region is mostly flat, and therefore finding a suitable natural relief for organizing a ski resort is not an easy task. Therefore, many resorts for skiers in the Moscow region created as a result of the creation of artificial relief. The climatic conditions of the Moscow region and the Moscow region for the organization of ski resorts are favorable: the region is in a temperate zone with an average winter temperature of about -9.

SPORTS PARK “VOLEN”
Volen – one of the few resorts in the Moscow region that meet international standards of the tourism industry. The park consists of two ski resorts, one of which is located near the town of Yakhroma, and the other near the village of Stepanovo (4 kilometers from the first complex).

In both complexes there are trails where you can show your ski and snowboard talents. In Yakhroma there are more of these tracks (currently there are 14 of them, including 2 training tracks), in Stepanovo there are fewer (while 4). But in Stepanovo trails are longer and the elevation difference is greater. If in Yakhroma, the maximum length of the route is 450 m, and the height difference is 70 m, then in Stepanovo, respectively – 960 m and 90 m.
All trails are equipped with lighting and snowmaking systems. The first are important for skiing in the evening, at night and in cloudy weather. And the second – for good quality snow on the slopes, and sometimes (in snowless weather), and just for the presence of this snow.
In addition, all trails are provided with lifts. There are 11 such lifts in Yakhroma (7 skids, 3 baby lifts and 1 conveyor lifts).
Today Volen is a real ski resort with a developed infrastructure – professionally prepared tracks, equipment rental, a ski school, a hotel and cottages, restaurants, shops and much more.

SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT PARK “YAHROMA”
Yakhroma – on its territory there are 4 ski slopes with equipped slopes of varying complexity, in the “Amusement Park” there are modern and exciting rides, guests also have the opportunity to ride snowmobiles, toboggans, zorbs and climb the ice cliff.

SKI RESORT “SHORTCHEANS”
Sorochany – located 54 km from Moscow Ring Road on Dmitrovskoye Highway. Today this sports complex is recognized as one of the best sports grounds of the Moscow Region.

At the resort, guests can enjoy a mountain height of 225 m, 10 trails with a height difference of up to 90 m and a length of up to 850 m, a rental point with a wide range of ski and snowboard, modern chairlifts and speed tows, cafes, restaurants and a cottage village.
